Chiswick launches quintessential at home menu just in time for Mother’s Day

Today Chiswick announces the launch of its at home menu, bringing much-loved favourites plus some fresh takes on classics to home dining rooms across Sydney, arriving just in time for Mother’s Day.

Designed to bring the best of Chiswick direct to your home, the menu is available for pick up Tuesday to Sunday from Thursday, May 7th. Choose your own Chiswick adventure depending on the occasion; an easy and hearty midweek dinner of a free-range roasted chicken with gravy and sides of rosemary and garlic roasted potatoes and a leafy Chiswick salad; or making a night of it with a vegetable crudité from the Chiswick kitchen garden alongside house-made ricotta and house-cured salmon and pickled fennel in a ruby grapefruit dressing to start, generous serves of ricotta gnocchi with prawns, the Chiswick lamb shoulder paired with sides of roasted pumpkin with gremolata, roasted beetroot, preserved lemon, and Persian feta salad, moreish woodfired bread and an apple and rhubarb crumble to finish. New desserts will be added to the rotating menu each week, as well as comforting dinner specials by Matt Moran.

Moran knows that we’re seeking comfort food of sorts at the moment, and so has created a fresh take on a classic, adding a duck, chicken and pea pie inspired by the Aria favourite to the menu. The pie, with its succulent duck and chicken pieces in a sherry stock is encased in glossy puff pastry and is available to serve two or four. Saturday and Sunday see Chiswick taking orders for weekend lunch too. Pick up is available 11:30am-2pm to recreate the much-loved weekend lunch at home.

“We wanted to come as close as we could to recreating that wonderful Chiswick experience. This is a menu that captures the feeling of a meal at Chiswick, ready to pick up, take home and feed your family. Chiswick is what I would call “the local” and we’re thrilled to be able to invite the community in again to pick up their favourite dishes and share them with their families at home. Mother’s Day is such a special day that’s usually bustling at Chiswick, but this year you can have the same feast at home. There are two options and each is abundant with roast meats and veggies, salads and a bake-at-home crumble to finish.” says Moran.

Of course Chiswick has thought of the full dining at home experience, with a well-stocked drinks menu of ready-to-drink cocktails and wine. Chiswick sommelier Eleonore Wulf has dusted off the best of the Chiswick wine vault as well as created a grab-and-go cocktail selection to pair perfectly with your meal.
Wulf suggests starting your meal with an elderflower spritz pack, then pairing the Chiswick lamb shoulder with a bottle of Vasse Felix Cabernet Sauvignon from the Margaret River or the roasted chicken with a bright and mineral Chardonnay from Burgundy.

“We’ve toasted to so many wonderful moments with our guests at Chiswick, whether that’s an anniversary, a long Sunday lunch or just a quick bite during the week. We want people to continue toasting to those moments at home and the drinks menu we’ve created pulls together Chiswick favourites, classic cocktails and a few of my own personal picks, to take you through your meal.” says Wulf.

For Mother’s Day, Chiswick has created two feast options that serve four and centre around either the Chiswick lamb shoulder or roasted free range chicken, with all the trimmings to create that special Chiswick experience for mum at home.

The Chiswick at home menu is available Tuesday-Sunday with pickup between 5:30pm and 8pm. Lunch orders are available Saturday and Sunday between 11:30am and 2pm. Dinner orders can be placed until 10am on the same day. Weekend lunch orders can be placed until 8pm the day prior.
